How to participate
There are two ways to participate: sit in on a rehearsal, or join us for a concert.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose your preferred sit-in date(s) below; OR
- Select the concert(s) below – and the corresponding rehearsals – that best aligns with your schedule
- Complete the form to let us know who you are, what instrument you play, and when you’re available
- Submit the form and watch for your welcome email
That’s all there is to it! We look forward to making music with you!
Choose your concert:
March 21, 2020 (6:30 PM) – Join the Delano Community Band for our spring concert “Women of Music” on March 21st. The concert will be at the Delano United Methodist Church in Delano, MN.
July 4, 2020 (right after the parade) – We will perform right after the parade is over on the main stage of the Delano 4th of July Celebration in Delano’s Central Park.
Sit in on a rehearsal
Not ready to commit to a concert just yet? You’re still welcome to sit in on a rehearsal with us. Let us know your preferred sit-in date via the form below. That tells us when to expect you, what instrument you play, and answer any immediate questions you may have.
That’s all we need for now! Everything else can wait until after you’ve made the decision to join us.
* Percussionists: you only need to bring your favorite “sticks” if you have any. We have percussion instruments available.
