Rehearsals
We rehearse for about 90 minutes on Thursday evenings at 7:00p.m. in the Delano High School band room.
Our repertoire spans virtually every major genre of western music from traditional concert band fare, to renditions of early music, to adaptations of orchestral pieces, to contemporary iterations of popular music and modern works for band.

We are always accepting new members. At this point, we do not require auditions. Simply send us an email letting us know what instrument you play and we will contact you to set up a date you can attend a rehearsal.

The Delano Community Band is an all-volunteer, inter-generational concert band based in Delano, Minnesota. Established in November 2017, band members have ranged from strong high school musicians to those who’ve been performing for over 50 years. With this diversity of experience, the band offers growth and performance opportunities for musicians.
